True even for the meatspace observer, until it examines the contents of both drives to a sufficient depth that it can make a distinction.


Is there not a more effective/efficient identifier for Volumes?

Disclaimer: Moot point for me at this time. I'm not in an environs where dupe volume names are a scripting issue.
