Folder Actions work immediately on receipt of the files, not necessarily
once the move to the folder is complete. If the files are of any significant
size the actions start processing before the move to the source folder is
complete.
Drove me nuts for a bit.
I wrote combination of applescript, to get the contents of the source
folder, filemaker, to keep track of the files in the folder and there sizes,
and triggered the thing to check every minute with ido script scheduler.
Not elegant, but functional.
