I have a question with regards to login/logout hooks. This is the first time I'm going to try one of these, and I was wondering what the best way to save an AppleScript would be to use it? I'm leaning towards saving it as an application, with the "Run Only" box checked, but I was wondering what you and others on the list think. Any gotcha's I should watch out for?

I'm not sure whether this has been answered. I must admit that "login/logout hooks" is pretty opaque for me, but if it's about some registration or authentication process, yes "Run Only" is the only solution. Yet, of course, don't expect the script to be encrypted: a willing user could certainly, for instance, retrieve a string constant in your script. So, either you expect that such hacks remain a marginal phenomenon, or you have to commit for an additional encryption solution.
