I think that the individual screensaver modules have their own settings
files (where these are configurable and configured), with a 'general' plist
for the screensaver idle period.

Splendidly. I tested it with a 30 second idle period and the screensaver
kicked in right on cue. (G4, OS X 10.4.5)
