Oy. How sad is that? I'm doing a brief AppleScript tutorial on
Friday and have had to ask the lab admin to load Tex-Edit Plus on
all of the machines.
I wish Apple would eat its own dogfood.
It is indeed a sad reflection that, to demonstrate some of the best
features of AppleScript, one seems forced to hold up third-party
software as a model of implementation. At least now, you'll have the
option of including mention of another currently under-utilised
feature that might assist those on the nursery slopes of the AS
learning curve: recordability. ;-)
