Update to My Recent Questions

Over the past month or two I've asked a number of questions while rewriting an old mail archiving script. Your answers have been helpful and interesting. I finally decided to start using Mail, instead of Eudora, and to write the script to export Mail's mailboxes. This solved all my problems. After a week of not being sure of receiving mail, I made the conversion and my script is working well.

My questions about "Unicode or ascii" and "Return or No Return" are moot, since I am no longer reading text files. The header information I need is available from Mail.

My inquiry about "Converting Date-Time" is no longer applicable, since Mail does the calculation and provides information I need.

"Folder Actions" are no longer needed, since I am now linking a Mail mailbox TO a folder, instead of the other way around.

In response to my comment on Folder Actions Matt Neuburg commented ...
Well, aside from the fact that I've written you a book that talks about the
basics of folder actions in some detail, there's this:

<http://www.apple.com/applescript/folderactions/>

The URL is relevant and useful, however ... I've tried getting there from both "Developer - Advanced Search" and "Support - Advanced Search" and couldn't find it.

I may want to use Folder Actions in the future and I'm still hoping I'll find some way to launch (an AppleScripted) application bundle as a Folder Action.
