Hmmmm! From the drutil manpage: drutil -- interact with CD/DVD burners
AFAIK, it doesn't do a thing for CD/DVD readers, such as the DVD-ROM drive
originally installed in my G4, 450 MP machine. Unless the CD/DVD drive is also
a burner, drutil won't work. However, drutil does open/close the tray for my
external QPS FW burner.
