Newbie here. While looking for something else, I came across
GetMilliSec. It didn't work on my Mac and I found out that I needed
an OSAX file. I found the GetMilliSecOSAX101.hqx file and extracted
the folder it contains. The folder includes a ReadMe, but it's a
classic application and I couldn't run it (new Powerbook running
10.4.11). I did some reading and it seemed that what I had to do was
put a copy of the GetMilliSec.osax file into the ~/
Library.ScriptingAdditions folder.
Well, I did that, and restarted Script Editor, but GetMilliSec is
still unrecognized. I assume I am missing a step but I Googled
around and didn't find it. Can someone enlighten me? Thanks!
If you're running a Mac with an Intel processor, you will need to run
Script Editor under Rosetta in order to use it. However, if it has
not been carbonized, you won't be able to use it at all.
