Title: Eject in Leopard - some clues

Hi all,

Thanks for your recent input on this baffling subject.

After a few tests, here are my conclusions:

Firewire Harddrive, CD/DVD and USB connected card readers (containing the same CompactFlash card I initally had a problem ejecting) return in their properties that they are ejectable.

In the case of a PCcard with my CompactFlash card in an adapter this returns ejectable:false

Would any of you (and why not Mr. Nebel, if he has an idea why) car to comment ?

I now hav e to throw a shell command at it – and that takes about 10 seconds to complete. Hardly helpful when working a photo report in stressful conditions.

Best,

j.
