Playing one song using iTunes

Playing one song using iTunes

Currently I use CronniX to play one song at different times of the day (a different songs for each instance), using it as an alarm clock. One command tells CronniX to /usr/bin/open "song name", then say, 8 minutes later, to /usr/binopen "/Applescripts misc/Quit iTunes.app".
However, CronniX only allows hours and minutes, not seconds so I either get the song cut off or it goes onto the next song in the Library (I cannot get iTunes to recognise play lists when a song is called remotely).
Is there any way I can get an Applescript to tell iTunes to play one song of a particular name and then switch off at the exact second it finishes?
