Now for my problem. Today or early tomorrow I am going to take delivery of a new Mac Mini. It comes with Leopard (Good!), but I need to maintain some old Tiger code for awhile. My intention was to install Tiger on a separate partition.

Yesterday, I searched the topic of installing Tiger on Intel only to find that my Tiger install DVD is useless on an Intel Mac. Yet I know users of Intel Macs who have installed Tiger. I really don't want to keep my old G4 PPC running because I have neither desk space nor a spare monitor.

I've got both PPC and Intel minis that came with different Tiger install disks. These install disks can't be used on the other machine but the Intel was upgradable to Leopard. I also have a newer iMac and it won't boot Tiger either.
