That's a good observation. I tried deliberately selecting some other
entry than the Front Row one, and then targeting the Front Row one
directly but the results were still sporadic. Just to note, an Apple
Engineer forwarded an alternate method to the Carbon list using
CoreFoundation code but the results have the same "doesn't stick"
problem.
OS X 10.5.6. The following seems to turn it off ok, but turning it
back on doesn't work as expected. Can you confirm?
