I am also struggelig with 32/64 mode. I write scripts and push them with Apple Remote Desktop to users. I use some OSAXen that are 32-bits only (Appearance), and the scripts must run in 32-bits.
How can I force script apps to run in 32-bit by default on remote users Macs?
I have tried changing the info.plist to i386 and push the file. But the remote mac still opens it in 64-bit (and fails).
(Chris Nebels arch workaround does launch it in 32-bits, but there must be a Correct Way of setting this?)
