That makes sense. What doesn't make sense is trying to judge that by the size of the business involved. If anything, there's a greater tendency towards common formats now than there used to be -- variants of XML, RTF/RTFD, standard image formats -- and it's more likely to be big enterprises inventing new formats, for a variety of reasons.

Well pict are no longer supported by Apple in 64-bit. And they're no one-developer outfit...
