No it doesn't. It went through the latest .6 upgrade without it breaking, and the author usually is pretty timely about fixing it. I've corresponded with him via email, and he seems to be a pretty good guy.
That said: top quoting; bottom posting should be a built-in option in Mail, and it's a virtually criminal omission.
