sudo touch /private/var/db/.AccessibilityAPIEnabled
A little experimenting in AppleScript revealed how this works, unfortunately, neither System Events nor Finder has permission to create/delete files in that folder.
I am reading the man page for 'sudo' and have arrived at ...
" ... if the target user is the same as the invoking user, no password is required."
in the first paragraph. Which seems to indicate that I can get around the password. I'll let you all know when I get something to work.
