Hi all,

For the record:

as far as I remember, the 'old' XCode installed a folder (with a special Icon: a hammer) in the root directory of the boot hard disk, named: Developer.

Mountain Lion installs the XCode in the Application folder.

And if you update XCode in a hard disk who have a "Developer" folder (above an old, say 4.3, version), it left that folder where it was. The size of that folder is 8,56GB.

Emile
