Hello Shane
I made several attempts
I opened a received mail
cmd + P
PDF
Print as PDF
save it using the default name which is suprising :
Macintosh HD:Users:yvankoenig:Documents:PDFs imprimés:Re/ Mail preferences in Mt Lion.pdf
Yes, slash embedded
There is no file :
Macintosh HD:Users:yvankoenig:Library:Preferences:com.apple.mail.plist
There is nothing resembling to the folder name in the preferences file :
Macintosh HD:Users:yvankoenig:Library:Containers:com.apple.mail:Data:Library:Preferences:com.apple.mail.plist
There is a property entitled « NSSavePanelLastSaveDirectory »
whose value is : /Users/yvankoenig/Desktop
but it's the path used when I apply Save As… to a mail.
