Hi Gil,

> I have a file of passwords on my laptop which I keep encrypted in case the laptop gets stolen. I'm using Microsoft Word to perform the encrypt/decrypt function, but launching Word every time I need an unfamiliar password seems a bit cumbersome. I did a quick Google research and found that people are using Disk Utility to make a password-protected disk image. That seems even more cumbersome than using Word.

is there a particular reason why you don't save your passwords using the Mac's Keychain Access, probably using a separate Keychain?

Best regards
Thomas Fischer
