And with the short date without the AM, this:
date "13:15"
Correctly compiles to this:
date "Friday, August 14, 2015 at 1:15:00 PM"
But doesn't compile if the AM is in the short date.
At this point I think the short date changing on upgrade to 10.10.5 fully
explains the issue.
