String recognition with trigger

  • Subject: String recognition with trigger

Hello all,

Does apple script have a command/routine to spot a character string that appears on screen which would trigger a branch and/or other script?

For example, if one wanted something to happen when visiting any web page with some string in common, the trigger would be called.

Which brings a related question, can a script call another script?

Thanks

XB
