The desired effect of the script is;

If a folder is selected and the script is run and if there is no (option f) in the name then add it to the name.

If no folder is selected then enter (option f) as a Keyboard Maestro Macro into the Finder.

The script operates in this manner either from a Keyboard Maestro Macro or as a stand alone.

Essentially using the (option f) as a dual purpose function.

To my knowledge there was never a mention of the use of the Command key.

Also In my original post my signature included OS X 10.11.1, the currently latest upgrade.
