It makes sense to me now, but only because I watched the video here (same one I linked to the other week in the thread ‘creating your own commands'):
The comment you quote above (which was actually from me) was in reply to Chris Page's question asking why I implemented commands instead of properties ("It is a goal for Script Libraries to support interfaces that follow the recommended scripting interface guidelines for applications when possible, which means using properties and elements rather than lots of library specific events").
I haven't watched that video for ages, so maybe I'm mis-remembering: I thought that covered commands only, with no mention of how to -- let alone that one should -- implement properties and elements. Am I confusing it with something else?
Have you implemented any elements and properties in your libraries? Has anyone? Hands up all those who have...
