My apologies for mouthing off Shane.
I lodged a bug report about a week or more ago, about the compiling crashing, via the automatic reporting, and did not receive a reply. I’ve also been fighting an ongoing 2 week battle between Dodo, (our ex internet provider), the NBN, and My Republic, our new provider for NBN, cause as soon as the NBN got activated with us 2 weeks ago, our landline was cut off, and we’re being told the number can’t be restored. Everyone's blaming each other, and I’m trying to compile a report for the Ombudsman. You can call it ’chickens coming home to roost’ from your point of view.
If it’s more bugs you want, then here’s another.
When I try and execute a search for a term in Script Debugger, using the down arrow always works. Using the up arrow often, but not always, gets a beach ball, and freezes, requiring a Force Quit of Script Debugger, and re-opening my App, whichever one of several it is. Then I have to try and avoid hitting the up arrow.
I had mentioned this bug, I think in this forum, and I think I lodged a report, but I’ve worked 440 coding hours since Jan 1st, and also tried to lead a life, so have lost track of some of the on-line things I’ve done.
I was in such haste this morning that I speed read Chris’s email, and misunderstood it. Totally my fault. But Script Debugger DOES have bugs, and I just presumed the developers (you being one of them), are simply to snowed under to reply to bug reports.

I think Script Debugger is full of bugs. I can’t use it to open my main App project, cause it crashes, then on re-opening offers to send an error message, which I’ve done. ‘Illegal statement’, but does not say what or where. Shanes Exporer still works fine.
I was going to ignore this, but that first statement is straight out defamatory and it's going to end up in the archives where maybe some newcomers will find it, so indulge me. Disclaimer: I'm involved in developing Script Debugger (although not an official spokesman), as well as the above-referenced "Exporer".
Yes, both apps have bugs. Contrary to the statement above, Script Debugger does open the project in question. It crashes on compiling it, which is obviously a bug. It may take some time tracking down the problem because it doesn't happen with other documents -- but then they generally don't contain more than 10,700 lines of code.
Perhaps this isn't the OP's only bug, and perhaps he has a long list that he has never shared with us. But to baldly call out an app as "full of bugs" without attempting to contact the developers is, I think, rather sad. It's not like the OP doesn't know whom to speak to.
If the aim is to drive out one of the remaining third-party developers catering to scripters, then perhaps it's a clever thing to do. But if it's someone lashing out because they're having a bad code day, it doesn't belong here.
If the OP is unhappy, I'd be glad to refund him his (discounted) purchase price.
I was a bit loose with my wording.
You can say that again.
