Well now, that's even *more* discouraging, David! Is there no honor! It's
incomprehensible that could happen to a group like yours!! I'm stunned, but
pardon me for saying so, I'm also relieved that it's not happening to just
the smaller and med. sized mugs.
I understand that a vendor could be late because of weather, travel
connections, etc., but to just blow off a meeting shows such a lack of
respect. Surely with a company the size of Adobe, Corel, etc., they have
more than one or two people that work with User Groups? I would think UG's
would be a major priority for all vendors.... or at least they should be.
It's very difficult to support vendors to our MUG members (friends &
family), and encourage these people to buy their very expensive products,
when there is this type of disrespectful attitude toward us, and all the
work we do to promote their products.
MUG's are not an esoteric thing, they are made up of individual people from
all walks of life, and these individual people have feelings who want to be
treated with some modicum of respect!
Janice
