You will think what you may Randy, but my feeling is that it shows that
its more of a problem of opportunity than a lack of effectiveness of product!
People have been given the option of waiting until September 30th to
sign up. Free trial speaks volumes for many. I bet that more than 70
percent of those yet to sign up will wait until the last days to do so.
I know that is what I did until just recently signing up to pay (as I
knew I would but not! until near the deadline). AND the only reason I
signed up early was because I had a need for the newest version of
Virex. I figured I need it now, I don't want to pay double for the
antiviral software by updating thru the parent company...so I might as
well go ahead get .Mac albeight 13 days early!
I'm sure that is the thinking of most people. "Ah...I'll wait until
that last week..."
