USER GROUP LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE AUDIO FILES ONLINE
The audio files of the sessions conducted at the User Group Leadership
Conference in New York City last month are now online, in both MP3 and
QuickTime formats.

MUG DINNER IN LAS VEGAS
Lesa Snider of the User Group Advisory Board hosted the most recent MUG
dinner while in Las Vegas on business last week, and was joined by
members of the Las Vegas Macintosh Users Group . The discussions ran the
gamut from a review of available MUG resources to how to attract female
members. Look for more of these informal regional gatherings at major
industry events in the future.

MORE APPLESCRIPT USER GROUP PRESENTATIONS ANNOUNCED
Ben Waldie , President of the Philadelphia Area AppleScript Users Group ,
has announced more visits to Macintosh User Groups in the Northeast
United States.
Ben has been delivering introductory presentations on AppleScript as part
of starting and building his own group. His upcoming tour stops include:
- New Jersey Macintosh Users Group - August 19
- Princeton Macintosh Users Group - September 9
- South Jersey Apple Users Group - October 17
- BizMac - November 19

USER GROUP MEMBERS GET A DOUBLE DISCOUNT ON O'REILLY MAC OS X CONFERENCE
Registration is open for the second annual O'Reilly Mac OS X Conference,
to be held on October 27-30, 2003 in Santa Clara CA. The four-day
conference boasts one day of in-depth tutorials and three days of
conference sessions covering all aspects of MacOS X.
The conference faculty reads like a who's who of Mac experts and includes
David Pogue, Adam Engst, Malcolm Crawford, Dan Wood, Andy Ihnatko, Robb
