Art here, from The Michigan Apple. Funny I stepped into Michele9s old
position when she moved on from our User Group to take a more active role in
two others in the area. (I think I still owe you a review from when you had
the Vendor Relation9s position, LOL). I started a contract type of thing but
haven9t had any good results so far.
Since I have an active role in producing our newsletter, The AppleGram I9ve
been thinking putting a small mention in those little gaps we need to fill
after laying out with something like: Look for review of 3Panther, The
Missing Manual2 by Joe Blow, coming soon! to maybe shame some of those
people into turning in something. Also for book reviews,
I ran across a page on the O9Reilly site that may be helpful for people who
do not know where to start:
<
http://ug.oreilly.com/bookreviews.html>
Maybe a e-mail of that link may give them a hint.
