Hi folks,
I'm interested in hearing from any and all user groups on this topic so
I hope you will take a minute to enter your group's info in a very
quick poll. Does your MUG have ANY type of Internet access in your
group meetings? I'm sure you have read about so many online offerings
from MaMUGs, the UGAB and other sources so I believe this will be
helpful to a lot of people who want to help MUGs. This is the kind of
information that presenters appreciate as well.
If you'd like to participate in this very non-scientific poll, please
visit MaMUGs online and scroll down to the poll information link.

I'd would like to hear from user groups anywhere and everywhere
(including our members who have already voted locally). The results
will be visible to the public and I hope that the information will be
helpful to everyone in some way (if only to know that you are "not
alone" with your own access situation).
For the purposes of discussion here:
Do you pay for internet access or is it in place in your meeting
facilities?
What costs are incurred?
Can your members in attendance also access it?
Would your group be interested in some type of program to get a user
group rate for meeting ISP access (if that's possible - maybe a member
price from a national provider, etc.)?
What do you think is a reasonable price for broadband? (esp. given
that most would only use it one day per month)...
Thank you so much,
Daniel East
