Hi Joe,
We've had our recycle program going for about a year. The line we draw
is that the machine must be a powermac, running at least 7.5 - if we're
going to try to get the folks on the internet, it must run at least
8.1. Since we don't have the space to store & piece computers together,
we ask for complete systems, all working, the OS disks, etc so we can
just clean up & pass on. You can take a look at our program on our site
- just click the link from the home page.

I ask other MUGs that have Mac recycling programs where do you draw
the line on which Macs your MUG will accept?
For disposing the unwanted, we donate to Goodwill or Salvation Army.
Collectors frequent those places & are delighted to find the older
systems at a great price. Maybe not the best, but it's better than the
dump.
Also any suggestions or thoughts on how to dispose of old Mac stuff
that cannot be given away either because of poor condition or because
of being out-of-date would be helpful.
Cheers!
