Yep!

Well, at the risk of my fingers going numb for the duration of my life by
admitting this, I will tell you that if you and I were casually talking
about our Macintosh computers (face-to-face and assuming that you will not
be quoting me), I would most likely say, "I have a collection of Macs," but
you can be sure if I were sending an article to a publication (newspaper,
magazine, MUG newsletter), I would say, "I have a collection of Macintosh
computers."
Then I would slip up and say, "Macs," to Steve Jobs! ;)
Might as well try to make it a habit to do it right, eh? I will work on
that.
