We are a 'small' retirement community of 55,000 in The Villages, Florida. (One hour north of Orlando). We meet in a recreation center paying about $55 month rent. Our dues plus a 50/50 drawing each month pay our expenses. We have table prizes, free books from Peachpit Press, flash drives, lap pads, etc . We have a projector that can be used in member's homes for SIGS. We have a wealth of talent here among retirees and they are quick to show how they use applications, and demonstrate how to do collages, use iPhoto, iMovie, etc. There are no perks for doing demos. We have often had well over 100 at meetings. We gave 'groups' with .mac where we answer members questions. _______________________________________________
