I am a user group ambassador with an ambassador account and I order
over the web - not fax nor phone.
I'm going to back up one more step, although it does sound to me as
if the issue so many are experiencing may be with Apple.
When enter http://asw.apple.com it takes me to a login page where I
enter my Apple ID and password. That takes me to another page, which
I have some control over. At the bottom is a large pop-up menu that
includes, among other items, "Welcome Apple User Group Ambassador"
and a Set as Default hotlink next to it. That is what I have set as
my default.
On that page are a number of sections including one that says iLife
Resources and another that says iWork Resources. Each includes a link
to the appropriate demo and review copy.
Alternatively, clicking on the Shop button near the top of my
Ambassador page brings up a list of Found items and a Shopping Cart.
If you guys aren't seeing anything like this, maybe you could try
entering the following part numbers in the site search frame of your
own ASW home pages. The search results for each also take me to a
link from which I can click and order:
iLife: L318214A-US
iWork: L318216A-US
If that still fails, I don't know, your Regional Liaison may have to
contact Apple to get your account straightened out for you.
