I'm the Ambassador for our group, Macintosh Users East, and I must admit that until recently, I've only been scanning the post titles (in digest form) to look for any topics that I needed to read. The reason for that was that our President, who was also the Regional Liason for Canada, was also on the list. It was so easy to let him run with things, especially since he had so much fun doing it. Unfortunately, he died this summer, so I am now also President pro tem until our elections in November. So I'll have to start reading more often.

Which brings me to a discussion topic:
Disaster recovery or succession planning.
If your president, or ambassador were to die suddenly, what plans does your group have in place to transfer the club .mac account, the DNS registry for the club web site, the name and id of the ambassador, the ability to edit club info on the Apple UG web site?
If you don't have one now, start working on it!
