My club's Board of Directors decided to leave NoMonthlyFees.com for another server. Its seems they weren't Web 2.0 enough for our new webmaster.
Anyway, after she took down the old website and created a blogsite, there was a "billing issue" and we lost the new site. She's too short to box with God, so she signed us up with a new server, DownTown as our Host. Of course, like any good PC/Linux computer/blogger geek that thinks they are a Mac guru, she did not back up the new site so she has to rebuild everything. Oh well, its too hot to play outside anyway.
I asked her if she even considered using iWeb and/or .Mac. She writes, "Ever run a site from a dot Mac account? (just wondering if it could be done. I don't think dot Mac accounts run MySql and php)."
I tried asking at Apple, but its been a week and I haven't heard from them, yet.
So, there it is. Are these WordPress blogsites backup-able? Do dot Mac accounts run MySql and php? The Board thinks she's the pro from Dover, so I don't want to offer suggestions if I don't have the facts.
