We use Address Book in Leopard to manage our list. It's really quite
powerful! We have custom fields regarding when the membership
expires, all the pertinent biographical information, and even pictures
of the member.
Using MobileMe, multiple people can edit the membership list and
access it for different functions. Very easy to transfer the reigsn
when there is a change in leadership
The other program we use to send out the member-only information,
press releases, and general announcements is Mailings, by Limit Point
Software. I recently did a review of the product on MacNN so check it
out: http://www.macnn.com/reviews/limit-point-software-mailings.html
The program allows customized html mailings to either groups in your
address book or imported files.
