My comment regarding the UGAB and Liaisons are only to show the
contradiction that while on the local level groups push for democratic
yearly elections of the leaders, on the national level they are not
democratically elected. Similarly without new leadership in these
positions, we are stuck with the same model of User Groups that are as
outdated as LocalTalk. And, as the original thread started and to use
a common quote these days "How's that working for ya?"
