I currently have a Nokia N97 and can appreciate the large physical qwerty keyboard that slides out, but generally, I'm thinking of trying something different and Apple seems to be the natural choice. Are the signal issues significant and noticeable and has it tipped the balance and changed your opinion on whether the iPhone 4G is a keeper?
Once you put a case on the iPhone 4, the signal issues go away. Bottom line, it picks up carrier signals much better than a iPhone 3g.
The big weakness with the iPhone 4 is a problem with the proximity sensor. Your ear will cancel the call, or even make a new call. Apple has previously announced a software fix to come out next month. I'd spring for one again. Best phone I've ever had.
