Well the list is not going to host and manage itself. Setting up a mailing list requires administrative work to set up and maintain. There may be someone who’s willing to give their time for that purpose, but you first have to find someone with the requisite knowledge.

As long as those of us on lists are notified how to re-up for a new list or as long as transfer is done smoothly.. what would be the reason not to do as Nichlas suggests
