BLE and Wifi don't interfere normally but in the Mac Mini I have, they have a shared antenna. I suppose the architecture is the same for MacBooks. So it doesn't matter if there is a wifi storm around you, just make sure the mac you use does not start to communicate over it while you are testing BLE.
