FYI this was closed as a duplicate (#13888223, still open) so hopefully it will be fixed. Anyone found a work around other than rebooting the phone? Also, anyone found a way to reliably reproduce this?

William

Yep, it's Bug ID# 14109905. I'll see if I can come up with better repro steps but so far this is an intermittent bug (though with no known work around).

Have you tried turning Bluetooth off and on as a preliminary step?

Occasionally I've noticed that an iOS device which is acting as a peripheral will continually throw errors for write requests until I restart the device. These errors show up on the central in peripheral: didWriteValueForCharacteristic: error:, with the error "Error Domain=CBErrorDomain Code=0 "Unknown error.". I haven't been able to find any work around for this other than restarting the peripheral device (the central doesn't need to be restarted).

Anyone know of a fix or work around? Asking the user to restart their device is pretty terrible...
