Well, _more or less_ I do agree (though we would probably differ in our
visions how to implement it into the filesystem). This was discussed very
extensively some time ago, though, without any reasonable outcome.
The reason why I support "anti metadata" can be shortened to "from two evils
-- NeXTStep-like 'just extensions' and Mac OS 9- like 'type/creator' thing,
I personally feel very strongly that the latter is considerably worse".
I would like to co-operate on design of a really good system (and I would
like to see those who could do it *MUCH* better than me, like John Hornkvist,
at it...), and I would like to do that even for free -- should there be at
least some reasonable probability Apple would use it in future. Perhaps I am
too pessimistic, but I don't see anything like that just now...
