This is quite an interesting read, since it sings the praises of the
platform independent nature of Cocoa, and how wonderful it is because
we can write once and run on Rhapsody, Windows and soon Mac OS. If only
this were still true today -- write once, run on OS X, Windows and
Classic...
Grrr. Stupid Apple! :-P
Are there any plans to resurrect Yellow Box for Windows?
Apple does apparently have cross-platform plans for MacApp..
they're working now on making it available on the PC. This from the
MacApp pages on Apple's WWW site.
And, according to this update (which was made about a week and a
bit ago) the Apple team is enthusiastic about this, and working to make
this happen.
Why Apple is continuing to support MacApp with updates when it is
available with source is beyond me.
Why Apple says that YB/Windows is bad for Apple, yet MacApp is good
for developers is also beyond me.
