Consider this... while the other person may not need their own preferences, I rather like the idea of keeping them away from mine. I spend a lot of time at Starbucks these days, now that MobileStar offers high-speed wireless Internet access there (802.11b kicks-ass!). As a result, a lot of people inquire about my TiBook, wireless Internet or whatever. Sometimes, friends or acquaintances want to check their email or look at web site. It would be very handy to quickly hot-swap to a guest account for stuff like that.
