It might be worth mentioning that any Cocoa application can call the Carbon
framework (although the reverse cannot be done easily), so anyone
contemplating Cocoa development does not have to worry about not having
access to certain Mac OS features; any API available in Carbon can be used
in a Cocoa app if necessary.
