What are you trying to accomplish? The only thing public about the sys prefs
is that one can write screen-saver modules that will get picked up by
Preferences.app. You typically put your modules into a user's "ScreenSaver"
folder or applicable shared area.

Maybe if you describe the problem you're trying to solve, there may be
suggestions on how to approach it.
