As the author of the O'Reilly article, I thought I'd chime in. :)

*Really*. That's not a graceful upgrade to XHTML as time moves forward. A real bummer in fact.

In any case, it worked just fine for me as I tried out every piece of it before publishing it. The snippet on the site is exactly the same as what is in my PB project. If it *shouldn't* work because of an over zealous parser, then something is off. (10.0.3, PB from the WWDC disks). If you'd like I'll send you the PB project?

I'm more than willing to update the article with this information, but since it is working for me, I'd like to know more about what's up before doing so.

I've also replied to Steve directly with a copy of my PB project.
