Okay, you caught me: I never went and checked if the syntax you provided
would break something. But, I guess the point really is that I can
envision a world in which our parsing is overzealous (it's been known to
happen in other cases), and so I would advise against doing anything in
your files that isn't strictly HTML 3.2 compliant, for the time being.

*Really*. That's not a graceful upgrade to XHTML as time moves forward.
A real bummer in fact.
In any case, it worked just fine for me as I tried out every piece of
it before publishing it. The snippet on the site is exactly the same as
what is in my PB project. If it *shouldn't* work because of an over
zealous parser, then something is off. (10.0.3, PB from the WWDC
disks). If you'd like I'll send you the PB project?
I'm more than willing to update the article with this information, but
since it is working for me, I'd like to know more about what's up
before doing so.
I've also replied to Steve directly with a copy of my PB project.
