I'm amazed that so many people doing creative work with Cocoa seem to have such a lack of imagination vis-a vis teaching same. Fine, I will now shut up and go back to trying to learn French with my Spanish/French dictionary and my German/Spanish dictionary and my newly found English/German dictionary. Excuse me all to hell for having what I see as a reasonable expectation of having access to an English/French dictionary. Yes, when I'
m finally able to order dinner in Paris without running the risk of getting snails by mistake, I'll also be able to avoid icky stuff in Berlin and Madrid, even if I never plan to go to either place. Blah.

Nah. Learning C before Objective C is not English -> German -> French,
or whatever. It's taking conversational French before taking French literature. If
you think it should all be in one big book, OK. But there are already lots
of books out there that teach C. I assume that's why Apple doesn't spend time
on it.
