Hi!

Wouldn't the "Pictures" and "Applications" strings need to be localized?
ISTR a message a few days back refering to "Dokumente" being used for the
"Documents" folder in Germany.

No -- I'm afraid this is one of the issues with the international version of MacOS X. Even we germans have to deal with names like "Applications" or "Documents" ,-)

Anyway, how could the internationalization be done? Change the names each time I change the langage-settings? Use folder names like .@Pictures etc. internally and only show the "internationalized" name in Finder? Doesn't sound reasonable.
